The township maintains ordinances for the protection of its citizens.
Permits must be obtained for:
- Modifying or changing type of use
- Construction or reconstruction of a structure
- Removal or placement of a mobile home
- Operating a business
- Erecting a sign
- Installing a driveway or driveway pipe onto a township road (for entry onto a state road, contact PennDOT)
- Installation, repairs, or upgrading of a sewage system
- Subdividing or developing land
- Before buying or selling a property, check with the township office!
